1. What if my gold has diamonds or precious stones. Do you return them to me?
We recommend you remove any stones you deem valuable. We do not appraise stones and thus no value will be added for them.
2. Will I be able to track my package of gold once it leaves my house?
You will be given a USPS tracking number that you can use to check the status of your package, please visit www.usps.com and enter the number in the track & confirm box, or click on the tracking number link in the email confirmation that you received at sign up. More conveniently, you will receive an email once your package has been received.
3. How much gold can I send? Any minimum requirements?
No quantity is too small to be redeemed. If it is gold, we'll accept it for the redemption program.
4. How much will it cost me in shipping to send my gold to you?
Shipping is FREE. You will pay absolutely nothing. Your USPS shipping label is pre-paid and valid for a period of 10 business days. You are under no obligation to use it.
5. What if my package gets damaged or lost in transit? Any Insurance?
We will insure your package for up to $200. If your gold is valued above this rate, we recommend that you obtain additional insurance by visiting any US Postal Service station near you.
6. Will I be able to know how much you will pay me before receiving my check?
Absolutely. Once we finish processing the content of your shipment, we will email you the payment amount and ask you to simply reply to us with either Accept or Reject. If we don't receive your reply within 7 business days, we will then mail you a check.
7. What if I am not satisfied with the amount on my check? Can I still refuse it?
If, for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with the payment amount on your check, you must notify us immediately by calling 1-888-395-2994 or emailing goldredemption@stauer.com. You must also return the non cashed or non deposited check to us by mail within 14 days from the date on the check, and we will return your material to you at our expense. If we do not hear from you within 14 days of the date on the check we sent you, the transaction will be final, and your items can no longer be returned to you.
8. Why should I choose Stauer's Gold Redemption and not others?
When a study was done comparing competitors payout to ours, the results found that our gold redemption program can give a significantly higher return. The competitor gave a check for $31.60, whereas we offered for the same piece was $118.95, almost 4 times the amount for the competitor.
9. How will I know when you have received my gold package?
You will be given a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your package. More conveniently, you will receive an email once your package has been received.
